Crops must be protected from the sun's rays, which can burn plants and fruit. This allows farmers to maximise yields and avoid production losses. These nets can also be used to cover reservoirs, car parks, parks and public areas. Shade or blackout nets are made from monofilament and raffia threads. They prevent sun and water stress on plants, improving their vegetative development and giving more vigour to leaves and fruit, thus increasing production.
